Since Wilsden Parish Council came into being in 2004 we have always tried to find ways to improve the overall environment of the village. Initially we focussed on hanging baskets and Christmas lights and we have steadily expanded what we have delivered. We have also gradually invested in more hanging baskets, flower planters and lights realising that if we buy equipment of the right quality some of it can have a life of more than ten years. This has allowed us to deliver gradual improvements without requiring a significant increase in the parish precept to the council tax.
