Clean For The Queen

You are here:

On Saturday 23rd April several parish councillors, many members of the public and Rainbows (junior Brownies) got together in the warm Spring sunshine to clear and litter pick at several  areas in the village. After an hour and a half of litter picking in the park, Rec and Main Street several bags of litter were collected, which were later taken away by Bradford Council’s Clean Team.

All who helped in the clean-up were invited back to the Contact Point for complimentary refreshments and to take a well-earned rest after the morning’s work.

The parish council hopes that the village can be kept clean, tidy and free from litter. If we all do our bit the village will always look its best.
