There will be a Neighbourhood Drop-In session on Tuesday 11th September at Wilsden Village Hall, between 6.15pm and 7.45pm.

As you may be aware, the drop-in sessions are run jointly by Bradford Council's Neighbourhood Service and Shipley’s Neighbourhood Police Team. Officers from these two services will be present, and residents are invited to talk with us about their priorities, concerns, ideas and so on, or to seek advice on local neighbourhood or policing issues. We are also encouraging people to come and find out about crime prevention, such as home security and Neighbourhood Watch, and to learn how they can get involved in their local community.
Please note that this is a drop-in session and not a meeting.
  • Find out about crime prevention such as home security and neighbourhood watch.
  • Learn how you can get involved in your local community.
  • Let us know about your local priorities, ideas or concerns.
Refreshments will be provided.

Please contact us if you have any specific needs to enable you to join the drop in.

For more information please contact: Shipley Area Co-ordinator's Office, Shipley Town Hall, BD18 3EJ.  Tel: 01274 437146 or e-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Dear residents!

Are you a cycling enthusiast? You cannot imagine a weekend without your favourite two-wheeled vehicle? Do you often commute by bike?
If your answer to any of the question was “YES”, this competition is just for you!

We would like to invite you to take part in the competition organised by an online transport marketplace Clicktrans.com. The only thing that you have to do is to convince us that it is your route that has something which makes it the best route in your region! In the winner selection process, we do not take into consideration the route itself, but the attractiveness of the way in which you present it.

  2. The majority of your route should be on the territory of the Yorkshire and the Humber region
  3. We do not confine you to share an officially established cycling route – it can be any path of your choice.

Prizes:

1st prize: £ 450

2nd prize: £ 250

3rd prize: £ 100

To enter the competition, please send us an email entitled “My favourite cycling route in Yorkshire and the Humber” to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
