The Wilsden Parish Neighbourhood Plan is now entering the formal Pre-Submission Consultation Stage. This means that Wilsden Parish Council is satisfied that it has a robust draft Neighbourhood Plan and now invites residents, landowners, businesses and agencies to give their views on it.

An exhibition of the draft plan will be held on 6th July 2017 in Wilsden Village Hall between 2pm and 4pm and 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

The pre-submission consultation commenced on the 14th June 2017 and the closing date for representations is 26th July 2017.

A thriving local economy is beneficial to the well-being of the community and it is for this reason that Wilsden Parish Council urges you to use the local shops and services. In comparison to other villages in the district Wilsden is well-served and the parish council would like to see it not only stay that way but also enhance existing provision.

If you are unsure as to what services are available locally the parish council will shortly be producing a listing, but meanwhile, there are other sources such as Yellow Pages and local magazine advertising that will be helpful.

So, before you splash the cash or exercise the plastic for goods or services, STOP AND THINK:  CAN I BUY THIS LOCALLY?
