Covering the villages of Wilsden and Harecroft

There is now a new category on the parish council website called Wilsden WW1 History where you can read about the Wilsden soldiers in the Great War along with a list of where they lived in Wilsden. If you live in an older house in Wilsden you may be interested in finding out if there was a serviceman at your address.

The link to this category is:    http://www.wilsdenparishcouncil.gov.uk/wilsden-harecroft/wilsden-ww1-history

There is also a paper list in a file at Wilsden Post Office which can be read during opening hours.

CONTACT POINT

The Contact Point offers residents to chance to call and report concerns about Police issues such as anti-social behaviour and speeding traffic or council issues such as dog fouling or litter. It is based at the rear entrance of the Village Hall and is staffed by volunteers and it is operated by the Parish Council.

The Contact Point is open most Thursdays from 1.30 to 4 pm and most Saturday mornings between 10:30 am and 12 noon.

On a Saturday it is always staffed by a parish councillor, giving residents an opportunity to raise any council related matters.
