The finance for the Parish Council is provided by a precept on the Council Tax and for 2018/19 the Council has set a budget that will raise £52,130.  In addition to the precept the Council received a Council Tax Benefit Support Grant of £2,759 because of changes in the way that the national government provides funding to District Councils. If this grant had not been given the Parish Council would have been significantly financially disadvantaged compared to previous years.

Details of how much council taxpayers will have to pay for individual bands is given below.

Council Tax for Band A house £19.81
Council Tax for Band B house £23.12
Council Tax for Band C house £26.41
Council Tax for Band D house £29.72
Council Tax for Band E house £36.32
Council Tax for Band F house £42.93
Council Tax for Band G house £49.53
Council Tax for Band H house £59.44

Where Wilsden Parish Council operates a function that is normally provided by Bradford Council a financial agreement is reached between the two councils to ensure that people are not taxed twice for the same service.
